Handheld Android terminal with a 5" touchscreen, built-in printer, removable battery and mobile data.
Overview
A wireless Android terminal for taking payment away from the counter: 5" touchscreen, integrated thermal printer, mobile data and dual-band Wi-Fi, and a removable battery that can be swapped mid-shift.
The Dejavoo P3 is a handheld Android terminal for taking payment wherever the customer is: at the table, at the door, or in a queue. It works on mobile data or dual-band Wi-Fi, prints its own receipts, and runs on a removable lithium polymer battery, so a spare can be charged and swapped rather than taking the terminal out of service.
It is the wireless counterpart to the P1 in the same range, and it keeps the same fifteen physical alphanumeric keys alongside a 5-inch HD touchscreen. It accepts tap, chip and swipe, and has a rear camera.
There is one thing you should know before ordering, and it is not a small one. Dejavoo publishes two specification documents for this model, dated 05/24 and 09/24, and they describe different hardware. The newer document has a faster processor, Android 11 rather than 7.1 and twice the storage; the older one has more card slots and lists optional barcode scanning that the newer one does not mention. Capability moves in both directions, which is what a hardware revision looks like rather than a corrected document.
We have published both readings side by side on the specifications below rather than picking one, because picking one would mean guessing which unit you would actually receive. If the processor, the Android version, the storage, the number of SIM or SAM slots, or barcode scanning matters to you, tell us and we will confirm the exact configuration with the manufacturer before you commit to anything.
