What we collect when you contact us

When you submit a form on this website we collect the information you type into it. Across the site that is your name, your company name, a phone number, optionally an email address, and whatever you tell us about your business or your enquiry.

We use it to respond to you and to prepare a payment arrangement if that is what you have asked for. We do not sell it.

What we collect automatically

• A first-party cookie containing a random identifier, so that a return visit is recognised as the same visit
• The campaign parameters on the URL you arrived through, such as utm_source or an advertising click identifier
• The website that referred you, where there was one
• The page you arrived on and the page you submitted a form from
• A coarse device category (desktop, tablet or mobile) and browser family

What we deliberately do not keep

We do not store your IP address. It is combined with a secret key and hashed, which lets us limit abuse of our forms and recognise a duplicate submission, but cannot be turned back into an address.

We do not store anything identifying inside the cookie itself - only a random identifier that means nothing on its own.

We do not record a browser version, screen size, font list or any other detail used for device fingerprinting.

We do not run third-party advertising or analytics scripts on this website.

Cookies

This website sets a small number of first-party cookies: one to keep your session secure, one to protect forms against cross-site request forgery, and one holding the random attribution identifier described above. Details are in the cookie policy.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them to serve you or to meet a legal or regulatory obligation. The attribution cookie expires 90 days after your last visit.

Sharing

To arrange a merchant account we share the information you give us with the acquiring institutions and payment providers being approached on your behalf. We do so to progress your enquiry, and we tell you who before we do it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact page and we will respond.

You can clear or block the attribution cookie in your browser at any time. Nothing on this website stops working if you do.

Security

Never send a full card number, bank account number or password through this website. No form here asks for one, and nobody at Apex will ask you for one.
